The story of the Automators started in Vienna in 2018. An impulse for founding the company came from a desire to create an organization where deep focus on test automation and its methodology is possible and where innovation is welcome.
This led to establishment of the Automators GmbH starting with three founding members: Amin Chirazi, Andreas Dörner and Valentin Ober.
Already in 2018 it became clear that there is a big potential on the market and our operations area needs to be expanded. We started looking for a new location that provides a big talent pool of highly educated people and lies in close proximity to Vienna enabling frequent face to face meetings. Brno in the Czech Republic proved to meet all these requirements so we set up an office with initially a small team of three people.
2018
In 2019 we welcomed Roman Rehm who brought in expertise in SAP quality management and testing methodology.
Another big step in the company history was founding of the Swiss entity. With some of our partners working in Switzerland during the past 10 years and already having strong ties to the country, we used the opportunity to build a team close to the innovation hubs in Zurich to develop a new and strong customer base. One of our partners Valentin Ober moved there and set up a team of five people in charge of this challenge.
2019
In 2020 we were honoured to win a Tricentis Breakthrough Partner award which recognizes our strong collaboration in the test automation area. We have received an exceptional feedback as a company that has outstanding consultants who guide and coach executives to success.
2020 also assured us of our team members resilience as we have worked our way through the covid-19 crisis without interruption of any of our projects and with even stronger relationships with our clients and partners built through frequent online interactions.
The covid-19 crisis also showed that test automation can be beneficial even as a short-term solution in the challenging times. This brought us several new initiatives and opportunities to help our clients succeed.

As our team constantly grows, we started 2021 with expansion of our office facilities at all locations along with a switch to a more flexible workspace model.
An important milestone that we achieved is the launch of our first product Tosca Xray Connector that was developed in 2020. This achievement underlines our position of an innovative company and motivates us into creating new solutions for our clients.
Automators customer base now spreads across pharma, banking and insurance industries including public sector and more. Our area of expertise along with our clientele continually grows as we engage with enterprises from wide range of industries to find ways of helping them thrive.
